Migrating to ROS 2.0

We are testing migrating to ROS 2.0 from 1.8.3 by following the directions here:

When I try to install the realm CLI, I get this:

npm WARN deprecated [email protected]: stop using this version
/usr/bin/ros -> /usr/lib/node_modules/realm-object-server/dist/cli.js

[email protected] install /usr/lib/node_modules/realm-object-server/node_modules/diskusage
node-gyp rebuild

I am installing as the root and have done every bit of giving permissions that I can come up with, but I can’t figure it out.

Any guidance?

I don’t think we advise root installation. How are you trying to install? More details here
